Yes. SCU Online accepts transfer credits and provides opportunities to earn credit for prior learning and professional or life experience—helping you maximize what you've already accomplished and potentially finish your degree sooner. You can also earn up to 24 credit hours with your IPHC minister's license, ordination, or MCP year 2 credits.

How long does it take to complete an online degree at SCU?

Program length varies depending on how many transfer credits you bring with you and whether you attend full-time or part-time. Many adult students finish sooner than expected by transferring prior college credit or earning credit for life experience.

What if I've been out of school for a long time?

You're not alone. SCU Online provides academic support, tutoring, and resources to help you regain confidence and succeed from day one.

Can I receive financial aid if I work full-time?

Yes. Many full-time working adults qualify for financial aid. Eligibility is based on several factors—not just employment status.

How can I afford to go back to college?

Most SCU Online students use a combination of financial aid, scholarships, payment options, and transfer credits to make college affordable.

Are scholarships available for online students?

Yes. SCU offers scholarships that may be available to online learners, helping reduce overall tuition costs.

What if I don't qualify for financial aid?

There may still be options available, including SCU scholarships or alternative payment solutions. Our admissions team will help you explore every option.
